Technical Characteristics from Al2O3 ceramic mandrel
High Temperature Resistance
Temperature range: Long-term stable working temperature up to 1600℃~1800℃ (depending on purity and structure), short-term can withstand higher peak temperature.
High Temperature Stability: 99% high purity Alumina (Al₂O₃) has almost no crystalline phase change at high temperatures, avoiding deformation or cracking caused by thermal expansion.
Excellent Insulation Properties
Dielectric strength: ≥15 kV/mm at room temperature and ≥5 kV/mm at high temperature (1000℃), suitable for high voltage electric heating equipment.
Resistivity: >10¹⁴ Ω-cm at room temperature, effectively isolating the risk of current leakage.
Excellent mechanical properties
Flexural strength: ≥300 MPa (at sintered density >3.8 g/cm³), supporting high-tension winding process.
Hardness: Mohs hardness grade 9, resistance to abrasion far exceeds that of metal or common ceramic substrates.
Chemical resistance
Resistant to acid and alkali erosion (except hydrofluoric acid), stable performance in hydrogen fuel environment, industrial exhaust gas, outstanding hydrogen embrittlement resistance.
Thermal Management Advantages:
Low Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE): 7.2 x 10-⁶/°C (25-800°C), matches the expansion rate of most metal heating wires and reduces interfacial stress.
High thermal conductivity: 30 W/(m-K), rapid and uniform heat conduction, avoiding local overheating.
